FIFA WORLD CUP FINAL 2022.

In one of the most thrilling final of any of the FIFA World Cup the match between the holders France and the favourite Argentina  in the regulation time ended with 2-2 draw and again in extra time both teams scored 1 goal each making the score 3-3 Messi scoring in 109th minute of the game but France was awarded one more  penalty kick which Mbappe converted into goal completing his hat trick of the match .  

Then the match extended  to the penalty shoot out in which Argentina won 4-2 Gonzalo Montreal of Argentina  scored the clinching penalty kick  after Kingsley Coman had an attempt saved by Emilio Martinez the goalkeeper of Argentina and Aurelien  Touchme missed his shot hitting wide of the goal post.

Till 80th minutes of the game the Argentina was dominating the match Leon Messi put Argentina from a penalty kick in the 23rd minute and played an important part in the second goal for Argentina scored by Angelo D Maria in the 36th minute of the game . Argentina was cruising for a comfortable victory with only 10 minutes of regulation time left , suddenly France was awarded a penalty kick which Mbappe converted to goal with ease and then scored his second goal of the match for France within the span of 97 seconds .
Thereafter it was anyone's game both sides playing attacking football and many goals were missed by a narrow margin .
Regulation time ended with 2-2 draw match extended to extra time were both sides scored one goal each making the score 3-3 the match went to  penalty kicks which Argentina won by 4-2 winning the FIFA World Cup after 36 years last won in 1986 with Diego Maradona as the leading star of then Argentina team  followed by reaching the final inv1990 but then were runners up .

Mbappe won the Golden Boot Award , Messi got Golden Ball , the tall 
Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez got the Golden Glove award for being the best goalkeeper of the tournament .
Endo Fernandez of Argentina got young player award of FIFA World Cup 2022.

To mark the occasion Prime Minster of India Narendra Modi congratulated President of Argentina Alberto Fernandez on the victory of Argentina in FIFA World Cup 2022.
   
As all good things comes to an end this grand finale of FIFA World Cup 2022 was the end of this great global festival of football held in the Middle East Country  Qatar .
Generally all FIFA World Cups are held in the summer months of May and June this is the first time this was held in the winters of November and December .

The celebrations of Messi and his teammates led by Angel di Maria continued into the dressing room of the Lusail Stadium in Doha.Argentina football team wildly celebrated their World Cup victory in the dressing room after the match.

Messi entered the locker room with the FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy in hand and immediately proceeded to climb on top of the table in the centre of the room. The whole room erupted with joy as the Argentina captain was soon joined by Lautaro Martinez as they both danced on top of the table with the trophy.
