Now the tournament FIFA World Cup 2022 has reached into last 16 pre quarter final stage in which two matches were played 
yesterday on 5th December , 2022 .

In the first match which was started at 8.30 pm evening Japan  played against Coratia in another match which started at 12.30 am midnight Brazil  played against South Korea  .

Coratia sealed FIFA  World Cup 2022 Quarter Final spot with the penalty shoot out win .

In first match Japan was the better team during the regulation time of the match but Coratia kept its calm during the penalty shoot out .
It was heartbreaking for the Japan as they felt short in the penalty shoot out after outplaying  Coratia for much of the regulation time in which the match ended with 1-1 draw .
Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic made 3 saves for Coratia while Mario Pasalic kept his calm in the decisive penalty to  kick into the Japan's goal.   

Brazil Vs South Korea.

Brazil breeze past South Korea 4-1,  will meet Coratia in the Quarter Final of FIFA World Cup 2022.

In the second match 5 times champion Brazil crush Asian Giants South Korea 4-1 in the round of 16.

Naymar starter Brazil crush South Korea to enter quater final of World Cup 2022.
Goals form Vinicious Junior (7 min ) , Neymar ( 13 min through penalty ), Richarlison ( 29 min ) and Lucas Paqeta ( 36 min ) guided Brazil to a 4-1 win over South Korea in the round of 16.

Naymar converted a first half penalty for his  76th International goal with Brazil move one short of Pele's all time record with Brazil.
South Korea was trying to advance past the round of 16 for the first time since its historic run as a co - host in 2002 when South Korea  made it to the Semi Finals and ended up 4th in the tournament .
Paik Seung - ho scored for South Korea in the 76th minute to give some consolation pride to South Korea . 

Today on 6th  December  , 2022 the following 2 matches will be played on knock out basis  in the last 16 pre quarterfinal stage .  

Morocco  will play against Spain  at  8.30 pm.

In another  match Portugal  will play against Switzerland  at 12.30 am  mid night .
