Delhi-The Hauntingly Beautiful Mountains of uttarakhand came alive in Pahad ke rang art exhibition,held in the Capital.exhibits 100 artworks

"Pahad Ke Rang" is a popular art exhibition that celebrates the beauty and majesty of the mountains through a diverse range of artwork. After a hiatus, the exhibition has returned to the capital Delhi with an impressive display of 100 artworks.

 


 This Two days Art Exhibition was held at  Lokayata Art Gallery , Hauz Khas Village , New  Delhi on 4th and 5th March 2023 for public in genral and Art lovers in particular.

The hauntingly beautiful mountains of uttarakhand and the vibrant colourful lives of the uttarakhandies return to the capital with second edition of "Pahad ke rang" . This exhibition was  organised by an Almora, Uttrakhand  based NGO "Udhyam" (Metores  Trust) in which 20 students of fine arts of Fine Arts Faculty of Sohan Singh Jeena University , Almora , Uttrakhand  displayed  their Arts Work for display and sale .

Large number of people art lovers from Delhi , natives of Uttrkhand living in Delhi and NCR visited the exhibition .
 'Udhyam'  has taken up this project " Pahad Ke Rang " in order to promote and encourage these young artists in their endeavour in the field of fine arts.
From a portrait of a woman from hills to landscapes or traditional 'Doli' -- mostly acrylic on canvas - the exhibition, according to the organisers, is not a reminder of the "lacuna in quality visual art education" but instead a reminder of the "resilience and the inherent talent" of these students.


It was a culmination of 18 month long programme, including workshops and residential art camps by Metores Trust.

Some of the students whose Art Works were in display in the exhibition include Shivani Vishwakarma , Diksha Mehta , Bhawna Bhandari , Tripti Kharkwal , Jyotisheer ,  Reena Phulera, Nisha Negi , Amit Bhardwaj , Pushkar  Singh Bisht , Mukesh Chanyal , Akrasha Bora , Pankaj Rana .
