Yesterday 2nd December , 2022 four matches were played. 

South Korea   played against Portugal  and Uruguay  played against Ghana  .  

Group -  H
Portugal  - 6
South Korea -.4
Uruguay - 4
Ghana - 3

In Group H
Portugal and  South Korea  and in Group G Brazil and Switzerland  have progressed to  last 16 knock out stage of the tournament.

South Korea scored an added time goal to beat already qualified team Portugal at FIFA World Cup 2022 in a come back win that sent the South Korea to the next stage of last 16 ahead of Uruguay on the numbers of goals scored .

After an early opener for Portugal by Ricardo Horta , the South Korean player Young Kim Gwon gave the Korean hopes with the 27th minute goal.

The last gasp victory for South Korea catapulted them from fourth position to second position in Group H ahead of Uruguay who beat Ghana 2-0 in the groups other game but failed to score enough goals to finish South Korea .

Portugal despite defeat topped the Group H to advance to the next round of 16 knock out stage alongwith South Korea. 

In another match in Group H between Uruguay and Ghana , Uruguay despite winning the match against Ghana 2-0 had to bow out of the tournament giving place to South Korea as although both teams had same 4 points but South Korea outwitted Uruguay on better goal difference .   

In this match between Ghana and Uruguay the Ghana's most experienced player Andrew Ayew missed a penalty in the initial stage of  first half of the match . After that Uruguay took the lead through two quick goals from Arrascaeta and thereafter maintained this lead till end however it was not enough for them to save them from exit at the group stage.
However it was in the 87th minute of their game they got the news that South Korea has defeated Portugal . Now Uruguay needed at least one more goal to be ahead of South Korea to qualify for last 16 knock out stage but it was not to be and had to bow out of the tournament . This has happened to Uruguay to be out in group stage for the first time since 2002.

In Group G two matches were played Brazil played against Cameroon and Switzerland played against Serbia .

Switzerland advanced to the last 16 knock out stage of the FIFA World Cup 2022 for the third time in the row after a 3-2 win over Serbia . Remo Freuler  scored the winning goal for Switzerland just after half time as the Swiss secured second place in Group G. They will next play Portugal in the knock out 
 round of last 16.

In another match Abubakar  scored with a header 2 minutes into the stoppage time in Cameroon's 1-0 win over Brazil .
Abubakar was then sent off the field with a second yellow card for taking his shirt during the celebration .

Brazil  despite this loss topped the group G they will next face South Korea in the knock out round of last 16.

Today 3rd December  , 2022 the following 2 matches will be played on knock out bassis in the last 16 pre quarterfinal stage .  

 Netherlands will play against USA at  8.30 pm.

In another  match  Argentina will play against Australia  at 12.30 am  mid night .
