Now the tournament FIFA World Cup 2022 has reached into last 16 pre quarter final stage in which two matches were played 
yesterday on 4th December , 2022 .

In the first match which was started at 8.30 pm evening France played against Poland in another match which started at 12.30 am midnight England  played against Senegal . 

In first match France  beat Poland  3-1 and thus entered in the Quarter Finals of FIFA World Cup 2022 .
France beat Poland 3-1 in the last 16 pre quarterfinal stage .
Olivier Giroud saw Fence getting ahead with his goal , he became the highest scorer for France in International Arena with his 52nd goal surpassing the record of Theiry Henry who had the record of 51 goals to his credit .
There after Kylian Mbappe scored two more goals for France taking his individual tally of goals scored to 5 front runner for Golden Boot Award in FIFA World Cup 2022.
Robert Lendowoski penalty shot getting into goal saw Poland salvage some pride but it was France , who qualified for quarter finals of FIFA World Cup 2022.

In another match of the day England  played against Senegal .

England Captain Harry Kane finally ended his goal drought in the knock out stage of World Cup 2022 as Three Lions ( England ) registered a 3-0 win over Senegal in the round of 16 match in World Cup 2022.
Harry Kane , who failed to score for England in the group stage phase of Qatar FIFA  World Cup 2022 scored the second goal for England in the closing stages of first half .
Harry Kane is England's second highest score in the International Arena .
Goals from Jordan Henderson and Bukayo Saka sealed England place in the quarter finals of FIFA World Cup 2022.
Thus England entered the QFs of Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 with the comfortable win over Senegal , where they will meet the winner of another match of the day and defending champion France . 

Today on 5th  December  , 2022 the following 2 matches will be played on knock out basis  in the last 16 pre quarterfinal stage .  

Japan will play against Coratia  at  8.30 pm.

In another  match Brazil   will play against South  Korea  at 12.30 am  mid night .
