Now the tournament FIFA World Cup 2022 has reached into last 8 quarter final stage .
Yesterday 6th December , 2022 in last of the last 16 stage match of the tournament two matches were played .
In the first match which was started at 8.30 pm evening Morocco played against Spain in another match which started at 12.30 am midnight Portugal played against Switzerland .
With the ouster of Japan and South Korea from the World Cup 2022 the Asian challange had ended however the African challenge still remains with Morocco winning their match against Spain .
In another match between Portugal and Switzerland Gancalo Ramos of Portugal hatrick the first in World Cup 2022 saw Portugal decimated Switzerland 6-1 to enter the quarter finals of the tournament .

In first match Morocco and Spain both teams played equally well during the regulation time of the match but Morocco kept its calm during the penalty shoot out .
It was heartbreaking for the Spain as they felt short in the penalty shoot out after playing well for much of the regulation time in which the match ended with 0-0 draw .

G. Ramos scored a hat-trick (scored in 17 min, 51 min and 67 min ) while Pepe (33 min ) , Guerrero ( 55 min ) and Leao ( 92 min ) netted one goal each as Portugal defeated Switzerland 6-1 and now face Morocco in quarter finals .
