Now the tournament FIFA World Cup 2022 has reached into   semi final stage. 

Now total of 4 teams remain  in the contest  .

Croatia
Argentina
France 
Morocco      

The first semi final between Argentina and Coratia , the runner up of last edition of FIFA  World Cup 2018  will be played on the night  intervening 13th & 14th December ,2022. The match will start at 12.30 midnight .

The second semi final will be played between France , the defending champion and Morocco , the first African Team to reach any FIFA World Cup on the night intervening 14th and 15th December ,2022.

Yesterday 10/12/2022 two matches were played .

Morocco Vs Portugal  

In the first match Morocco defeated Portugal 1-0 in the quarter finals .

Nesyri , the Morocco player , who had earlier twice headed over the crossbar leapt higher than Portugal goalkeeper Diogo Costa and defender Rubian Dias just enough of his head to push the  ball in the net thus  Morocco went ahead in 42nd minutes of the game .

Portugal started the game with Christiano Ronaldo in the bench and Goncalo Ramos in the first 11 following his hattrick against Switzerland in the round of 16.

England - France 

France beat England 2-1 to go through the semi finals of FIFA World Cup 2022.

A frantic well fought FIFA World Cup 2022 went France way as France defeated England 2-1 to go the final 4 and keep the hope alive to defend their 2018 FIFA  World Cup Title .

France had a better possession for much of the first half and took an early lead through a 25 Yards  kick  from out of the box by Aurelien Tchouamini .

England grew into confidence and came out in the second half with intensity and incisiveness , winning a penalty and easily converting it to equalise .

However , France team was clinical as Olivier Giroud scored to put again  France  ahead .

England got a chance to equalise as Theo Hernandez gave away a penalty in a moment of madness pushing Mason Mount in the box .  Harry Kane  stepped up to take panelty but skied it through above the  France  goal post .

It was tight close match till the end .
 
Lastly France who were more clinical won the match 2-1and reached semi finals , where they will meet Morocco in the last 4  of FIFA World Cup .
