Nainital-Good News-Two Squash Courts built at St. Joseph's College,Alumni Contributed!

Synncotts International  a sports Construction co. on behalf of some of the alumni of the 1970  batch - constructed two Squash Courts at st Joseph’s college Naini tal and handed them over to the Principal Bro Hector. This contribution was on account of the batch completing fifty years after their passing out of the venerated institute.

St Josephs College Nainital was established in 1889 . It has over the years played its  role in different ways  -  its alumni being represented in different careers .The alumni have excelled in different  sport . One digression with an anecdote would point out to this fact. Goal keeper Richard Allen of Nagpur educated in St Josephs Nainital was part of the team that beat USA 24-1 in Olympic hockey games . Richard conceded the solitary goal when he sauntered off to the sidelines to sign autographs.

The Squash Courts would-  it is hoped would contribute to the sports infrastructure of the town by bringing variety. The alumni contributing included Kamal Sahdev , Muktesh Pant , F Sharma, T K Shah , Khusru Dubash ,Ajit K Jain , Sunil Singhal,  Arun K Singh and Rajesh Sah.
