Youth caught smuggling 29 bags of illegal Chinese garlic on India Nepal border

To control the cross border crime on Indo Nepal border, on 12th October SSB BOP Shivpura, BOP Commander Inspector/GD Sanjay Kumar under the guidance of Dilip Kumar DC (Ops) under the continuous supervision of Ganga Singh Udawat, Commandant 42nd Battalion apprehended two persons namely Jamin Ali and Dildar who were smuggling 29 bags of illegal Chinese garlic weighing around 1102 kgs in a Bolero pickup from Nepal to India for importing to Indian market but they were chased and intercepted by the alert SSB personnel. During interrogation and investigation the apprehended youth failed to show valid documents and bills and managed to escape from the trade and transit route. The apprehended person was handed over to Custom Office, Nanpara along with seized garlic and Bolero pickup. Let us tell you that SSB personnel are working day and night to control such cross-border crimes on the international India-Nepal border.
